Otamatone Musical Instrument
(SKU: 23428)
|
Description
Most musical instruments don't have faces. It's a shame, really, as almost everything can be made better with a cute face. Well, fear not friends, as we've found the cutest musical instrument ever - and it has a face! |
| |
This weird and whacky 'straight-out-of-Japan' gizmo is called the Otamatone Electronic Instrument. Playing the
Otamatone is unbelievably easy. To create a wah-wah-ish vibrato-sound simply
squeeze Otamatone’s rubbery head, this will open and close the little
dude's mouth and cause the notes to come pouring out - and if you want to
change pitch simply slide your hand up and down the neck of the Otamatone.
We
like to think of it as a Japanese version of the Bagpipes! |

Otamatone also has a number of controls on it's back which
include the volume settings and octave/pitch level. We'll level with you - we'd
be surprised if you can squeeze out a pitch perfect rendition of 3 blind mice
we'd be amazed - but we think the Otamatone is fun, wacky, adorable, distinctive, and can be a great instrument for some unique electronic performances. |
